An Unsuitable Boy by Karan Johar

Hello friends, with another week comes another nice piece of learning. So today I am going to do a big thing as I am going to review a very hyped book worth reading Karan Johar’s autobiography. The title itself tempted me to read this book…How can K-Jo who is a very successful and famous writer, director, actor, producer call himself an unsuitable boy? So I just started reading this book as a person who is fascinated with Bollywood and impressed with the multiple talents of K-Jo. As we all know K-Jo is someone who has very strong opinions and relationships, so this book is just like a conversation, it’s like the same way and language he uses in Koffee with Karan and other events. His has all ages and events covered.

It’s interesting to see how simple his childhood was, even after being the son of famous producer Mr. Yash Johar. We often think that these stars are born with silver spoon in their mouth but in reality even these people have their own rough patches in life. We see K-Jo as a very normal boy in his early years – the foodie who was always confused about his talent, his life. When he realises his calling he becomes the best.

In the entire book he talks very strongly about relationships, their nature and how they change. Although he was the only child of his parents but he developed some relationships which are deeper than the blood. It is very interesting to see someone with such huge success goes through the same emotions as all of us.

He has thrown lights on almost everyone who has contributed to where he is today even though now he/she is not in his life in the same way they used to be. He has talked very strongly about every aspect of his life without any fear. The much talked about affair, he has opened up about his sexuality. Afraid of moral policing in our country he has given intelligent hints for the people to guess. What makes this book interesting is the way of narration because it gives giggles and a positive vibe.

I would say it is a good read for everyone especially people who aspire and struggle to be in Bollywood. I would like to conclude that these are my views but always judge a book after a read. If you find this review helpful or you like my writings, do comment and like as they are always helpful. If you like you can buy it from here.

See ya soon…am happy go lucky 🙂

A note to the Spring this year!

It’s that time of the year again when amidst all the festivities a terror strikes to students. So this is again March and board exams have started making springs more interesting. Today was the first board exam of my bro who is in tenth which was of Hindi. So after the exam, I had a conversation with him and relived my moments of the same.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

I do not know why, but I like the items made up of glass. I adore the crockery, the lamps, the vases, the wine glasses, the bottles and other things of glass.
